On January 24 at 8 p.m., the atmospheric Grote Kerk in the heart of The Hague will be filled with a special performance of Antonio Vivaldi's famous cycle The Four Seasons.

The Mystery Ensemble presents a unique reinterpretation by contemporary composer Max Richter, in which classical music is given a modern, minimalist twist.
Max Richter is an internationally acclaimed composer, known for his music for dozens of feature films and documentaries. In 2008, he was named Best Film Composer by the European Film Academy.
For this project, Richter adapted Vivaldi's iconic music into a renewed, postmodern composition. Recomposed by Max Richter: Vivaldi – The Four Seasons has become a worldwide success since its release in 2012, reaching number 1 in the iTunes Classical charts in more than twenty countries.
