Season of the Dead performing on stage at a death metal show with horror visuals in the background

On Friday 13 November 2026, Musicon in The Hague hosts a night of extreme death metal featuring two acts deeply rooted in the horror genre: Season of the Dead and Budapest-based Türböwitch. Both bands bring a live show fuelled by the raw energy and visual chaos of 1980s extreme metal.

About Season of the Dead

Season of the Dead presents its debut album Zombie Chronicles Vol. 1. The music is inspired by Italian horror films from the 1980s, including the work of directors Lucio Fulci and Ruggero Deodato. Heavy vocals, dark guitar sounds and a cinematic atmosphere are at the heart of the music.

Season of the Dead is a project by Titta Tani (ex-Goblin, Necrophagia) and Giacomo Anselmi (Goblin Legacy). John McEntee and Fiore Stravino provide vocals, with Dave Neabore and Chuck Sherwood on bass.

Alongside songs from the album, the band will play a separate set featuring music by Necrophagia. Where possible, this set will be accompanied by horror visuals.

Türböwitch at Musicon The Hague

Türböwitch was founded in Budapest in 2016 by vocalist Zslöd and guitarist Kommandante Klit as a tribute to the musical and visual chaos of 1980s extreme metal. The lineup has since grown into a full five-piece live band. Their sound blends the directness of early thrash with the energy of speed metal and the rawness of the darkest subgenres. On stage, the band is as theatrical as it is aggressive.

An extreme metal night in The Hague

Musicon is one of The Hague's regular venues for underground metal and related genres. The combination of two acts with different but related backgrounds makes this evening a strong draw for fans of death metal, thrash and horror-inspired extreme music. The show runs from 20:00 to 23:00.
