Enny Kleikamp, ‘Regen’ 80 x 60 cm Foto op geruwd aluminium

The exhibition Zijpaden (Side Paths) is an initiative of artist Tineke Vulto, who invited Rob Chevallier and Enny Kleikamp to participate as co-exhibitors. Together, they explore the theme from their own personal perspectives.

The idea behind side paths

The title Zijpaden (Side Paths) refers to the creative detours and excursions that artists take. These are side paths that arise from curiosity about new techniques, unfamiliar materials, different subjects or unexpected stories.

These side paths often lead to works of art that lie outside an artist's recognisable oeuvre. Because this work is rarely visible to the public, the exhibition Zijpaden offers space to these special, experimental sides of artistry.

Three artists, three perspectives

Vulto, Chevallier and Kleikamp bring together three different styles and perspectives. Their work shows how versatile and surprising art can be when side roads are taken and new inspiration is followed.
