Surfin' Santas
Hundreds of surfers dressed as Santa Claus will brave the cold North Sea on Saturday, Dec. 14, at Hart Beach Quiksilver surf school during the internationally renowned Surfin' Santas
Christmas vibes at the beach
The Surfin' Santas event is still relatively new in Europe. In places like Bondi Beach (Australia) and Cocoa Beach (Florida, USA), the event has been a hit for some time. Not surprising since it is nice and warm and cosy there during the festive month of December.
Surfing in boardshorts is out of the question in the Netherlands during Christmas, but as befits a real surfing Father Christmas, the Dutch surf scene rocks Surfin' Santas Europe as always extremely stoked and on pure perseverance.
Hart Beach knows no better: not for nothing do they receive many locals and surf lovers from all over Europe (and beyond) every day during the summer until deep into the freezing winter. No doubt that Surfin' Santas 2024 will also be a great success.
Note! In case of very bad weather conditions or no waves, the event will move to another date. Keep an eye on Hart Beach's socials for up-to-date information!
