Sun//Down
Sun//Down is a club night by The Hague DJ collective WavForm, hosted at Grey Space in the Middle. It is the nighttime edition of SUN//SET, a community-driven initiative that gives emerging DJs a platform in a relaxed and accessible setting.
SUN//SET started as a series of rooftop sessions at EnergieKas, set up by five The Hague-based DJs who wanted to create a space free from emphasis on status or performance. Since then, it has grown into a wider community of DJs, music lovers and volunteers. Through an open-call format, each edition invites new DJs to apply, continuously bringing fresh sounds and emerging artists to the fore.

Sun//Down is the nighttime extension of that concept. The evening starts on the upper floor with ambient, lo-fi hip-hop, downtempo and other laid-back sounds. From 22:00, the programme moves to the basement, where the tempo and energy pick up with a full club set. The five organisers' different musical backgrounds ensure each edition moves through a range of styles while keeping the atmosphere recognisably SUN//SET.
