Experience a special classical concert in the Lutheran Church in The Hague, where Johann Sebastian Bach and The Beatles come together. During Bach to Beatles, the Amsterdam Chamber Academy presents a surprising musical fusion of baroque music and iconic pop songs.
Classical music and Beatles arrangements in Bach style
The programme features two masterpieces by J.S. Bach: the famous Brandenburg Concerto No. 5 and the elegant Orchestral Suite No. 2, as well as a unique selection of Beatles songs by composer Luciano Berio.
Young talent from conservatories in the Randstad
The Amsterdam Chamber Academy is a string orchestra consisting of young, talented musicians from conservatories and orchestra academies in the Randstad. Under the baton of conductor Ben le Heux, they present an energetic and refined programme. Soprano Clarisse Planchais lends her voice to the Beatles arrangements.
