Spotlight Festival presents culture from over 80 cultural organisations

What to do?
During the free ‘Uitfestival’, you can get to know the extensive cultural offer from all over the city in a surprising way. Drop in at a theatre house in your street, join a workshop or be surprised by previews of the upcoming season. Find out which performances you don't want to miss or where you can make your own music, dance or other art in your spare time!

Four festival components
The four different festival sections will take place in all districts of the city from Scheveningen to Leidschenveen, Mariahoeve to Loosduinen. In the city centre, the freshly renovated Spuiplein with its beating festival heart will be inaugurated. Be it music, dance, theatre, literature, comedy, film or festivals. Scattered all over the city, venues and theatres put their programme for the coming year in the spotlight for you!

• Spotlight in the neighbourhood: Start the cultural season around your corner
  Friday 5 September* from 19.00 to 23.00 at 11 locations in the city.
  
  Participants: Ypenburg Library, Loosduinen Library, Haagse kunstkring, JAZZ Coffee & Wines, Laaktheater, Musicon**, Muzee Scheveningen, Popradar, Theater De Regentes, Theater De Vaillant, Theater en Filmhuis Dakota (Subject to change)
  
  *In Mariahoeve, Spotlight in the neighbourhood takes place on Saturday afternoon. In Escamp on the Leyweg, EscART festival takes place on Saturday afternoon!

• Spotlight Talentenplein: Discover, meet and join in
  Saturday 6 September at 12.30 official opening Spuiplein by the Neo Fanfare 9x13 then from 13.00 to 18.00 Spuiplein The Hague.
  
  Discover creative The Hague at the Talentenplein on Saturday 6 September! Creators, talents and cultural organisations from The Hague will present themselves with performances, workshops and interactive stands. Be surprised, participate or find your new hobby at this vibrant square full of art, cultural tips and inspiration at the Uitmarkt!
   
• Spotlight Kids: Where children take the stage
  Saturday 6 September from 12.00 to 16.00, Spuiplein The Hague.
  
  Spotlight Kids is the party for young creators! On Saturday 6 September, enjoy performances by and for children, take part in fun children's activities and workshops. Discover where you can shine in theatre, dance or music in the coming year. Be inspired and become a star in the culture of The Hague yourself!

• Culture Night: Free sneak peeks of The Hague stages
  Saturday 6 September from 19.00 to c.a. 23.00, 11 locations in the city
  
  Dive into the Cultuurnacht on Saturday night 6 September! Discover what The Hague has to offer next cultural season with one free passe-partout. Visit location after location and enjoy short, surprising sneak previews of The Hague's entertainment agenda at some 11 participating theatres and venues. Get to know the latest offer of performances, concerts, music, theatre, dance, comedy, film and festivals in The Hague! Combine a visit to Culture Night with Embassy Festival and Clubhopping Festival.
