In this swinging dance concert, The Ruggeds and Ghetto Funk Collective dive back fifty years to the days of James Brown, Aretha Franklin and Marvin Gaye. They will let you hear how the records of these funk and soul legends influenced the birth of hip-hop and house and everything else in between.
The two top dance crews from Dutch soil tour the world with their skills. In December 2022, The Ruggeds even became Breaking World Champions. But who knows, you may also know the group from their participation in the American 'World Of Dance', from Justin Bieber's video 'Where Are U Now' or you saw them at Lowlands. In 'GROOVE', the dancing musicians and musical dancers build a party, giving hip-hop and street culture a place in theatre. Dress to impress and enjoy a dazzling show full of live music, improvisations and spectacular dance moves.
