From February 8, 2024, Museon-Omniversum will exhibit the life's work of world-famous biologist and conservationist Jane Goodall with a film and photo exhibition. The award-winning giant screen film Jane Goodall: Reasons for Hope is shown on the large dome screen. In addition, the museum features a photo exhibition about her fascinating, almost fairytale-like life and her lifelong commitment to chimpanzees and nature. The photo exhibition was created in collaboration with the Jane Goodall Institute Netherlands.

“We humans are part of nature. We depend on it for our oxygen, our food, our water, our clothing - for everything. We need to build a new relationship with nature and ensure our children are well equipped to solve the problems we have created.” - Jane Goodall

With 44 beautiful photos from the Jane Goodall Institute Netherlands, this exhibition provides an insight into the fascinating life of Jane Goodall. We are introduced to her projects in Africa and her life-long love and study of chimpanzees.

The life of the world-famous ethologist and nature conservationist reads like a fairy tale. As a young woman, Jane went to Africa to live among the chimpanzees for years. After more than 25 years, she decided to leave the forests to fully dedicate herself to the conservation of chimpanzees and nature. But also to draw attention to current issues such as deforestation and poaching and what we can do about them. Jane calls on us to join her fight and make a difference.
