In all his creations, choreographer Serge Aimé Coulibaly draws inspiration from African culture. C La Vie is a new step in his virtuoso, committed and brimming with energy. In it, he follows the great tradition of initiation stories while creating a piece that is utterly contemporary through the use of bodies, voice, music and video.

Nine performers gather on stage: a public square where anything can happen and nothing is lost. From there, they view our world and our lives, in all its complex reality. At the heart of their initiatory journey is encounter: with music, with the other, with reality, with time, with the planet, with a loved one. In this way, Coulibaly invites us to question our choices as human beings: how do we give meaning to our lives?
