Experience the Hofvijver in a unique way
From Saturday 7 to Tuesday 17 September, you can again take a special canal cruise on the Netherlands' most famous pond! Once again, one of the boats from the fleet of Stichting de Ooievaart will be lowered into the Hofvijver to give visitors a view of the area from the water. On board, an enthusiastic guide will tell you all about this former dune lake on which The Hague was founded.
Cruising past Binnenhof: a unique opportunity!
From Wednesday 11 to Tuesday 17 September, the boat sails, weekdays between 11:00 and 17:00 and weekends between 11:00 and 20:00.
Board opposite the Hague Historical Museum (Korte Vijverberg 7) to enjoy the view and listen to stories about the past of the Hofvijver and Binnenhof that the guide has to tell. A boat leaves every hour from the boarding point.
