The Return III – Le Retour d’Ulysse
In the exhibition The Return III - Le Retour d'Ulysse, which will be on display in the Weissenbruch Room at Pulchri Studio from 25 January to 16 February 2025, Brigitte Spiegeler and Nikos Aliagas explore the theme of the nomadic and time.
Just as Odysseus symbolises the traveller and the eternal quest, Spiegeler dives back in time to revive iconic figures and images. In her work, these timeless archetypes are given a new voice and meaning in the present. Spiegeler thus explores the connection between past and present, showing that they are actually timeless. Within this theme, Aliagas emphasises adventure, identity and universality.
This exhibition pays homage to the classic icons that have influenced us over the centuries and offers a contemporary reflection on our own journeys and desires.
