A kilometre-long beach in the backyard, that is Scheveningen for The Hague. Four seasons a year a wonderful place to stay. With a glass of Chardonnay on a lounge sofa in the sun or with a sailing jacket full in the wind. Whatever the season, the effect of the fresh wind remains unchanged; a relaxed, rosy and satisfied holiday feeling.
Is good weather forecast? Some more tips:
- The beach will probably get busy, so go early in the morning or go a little later for a nice beach evening, in summer the sun does not set until after 10 pm, you can immediately enjoy the sunset.
- Also look for another place, just outside the bustle of the boulevard, see the tips below.

Scheveningen Beaches Scheveningen is divided into four stretches of beach, from north to south these are:
The quirky and cozy Zwarte Pad in the north on the dunes, the place for beach parties, but also the place where it is a bit quieter than the beach at the Kurhaus and the Pier.
The Noordboulevard, the wide beach between the Zwarte Pad and the Pier, located on the boulevard with shops, kiosks and Foodhall Scheveningen. It is usually a bit quieter here than in front of the Kurhaus.
The beach in front of the Kurhaus and De Pier. Liveliness everywhere here, with many beach pavilions, an entire boulevard full of eateries and various attractions such as Legoland and SEA Life Scheveningen.
The beach south of the Kurhaus, called the Middenboulevard, which extends to the harbor of Scheveningen. A real surfing beach with lots of peace and space, a few beach pavilions and the typical Scheveningen Keizerstraat with shops and restaurants located behind the boulevard.More information about the different beaches of Scheveningen
